Sometimes, to step backward is the same as not taking any steps at all. This quote by Abraham Maslow illustrates that progressing forward will help growth, and safety is found when moving backwards on progress. Even though relaxing and making safe business decisions may be appealing, this will get in the way of true progress. Leaders in business cannot hope to grow their idea exponentially if they are comfortable being stagnant; risk provides room for great reward.
