In education, academic integrity is constantly enforced. Part of academic integrity is the issue of plagiarism. What constitutes plagiarism, and when is the line crossed? A TASA expert wrote an article about this topic entitled What Plagiarism Is – and Is Not, and offered real-life examples.In the article, the expert highlights the questions that should be asked when debating if a piece of content is plagiarism:
- Are the similarities between two texts or documents too numerous and/or precise to have occurred by chance?
