This webinar discussed how sports injuries differ as a result of custom fit mouth guards. Dr. Rosenblatt also discussed how injuries can have structural impact and lifetime effects and addressed the pros and cons of various mouth guards. About the Presenter: Dr. Barry Rosenblatt received his BS in Material Science Engineering from the NYU School of Engineering. He graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 1975. Dr. Rosenblatt has a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Southern California. He worked as a Dental Corps Officer for the U.S. Army for more than 20 years. Dr. Rosenblatt is U.S. Army certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support. He has maintained his own dental practice for 20 years where he practiced all aspects of dentistry, excluding orthodontics. He previously worked as a consultant, as well as an assistant professor of biomedical engineering.
