On March 19, 2015, The TASA Group in conjunction with medical cost damages expert Wendie Howland presented a free, one-hour interactive webinar presentation, The Life Care Planner as Expert Witness: Whom Do You Trust?, for all legal professionals.
During this presentation, Ms. Howland discussed the differences between life care planning certifications, preparation and methodology. She also present skills for selecting the appropriate life care planner for a particular case. In addition, Ms. Howland explored strategies for deposing an opposing life care planner to expose strengths and weaknesses in his/her testimony.

Wendie A. Howland MN, RN-BC, CRRN, CCM, CNLCP, LNCC is a medical cost damages testifying expert in life care planning, offering expert life care plans for plaintiffs and expert critiques of plaintiff plans for defense. In addition to her private life care planning practice, Howland Health Consulting, she is the editor for the Journal of Nurse Life Care Planning and develops the core curriculum for the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners (AANLCP). She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Boston University and a Master's Degree in Physiological Nursing/Critical Care from the University of Washington. Ms. Howland holds national certifications in rehabilitation, case management, life care planning, and legal nurse consulting.
