This webinar cover common slips, trips and falls in the areas of transportation safety. The program explored how numerous passengers suffer injuries each year and how those injuries can occur.
About the Presenter
Carl Berkowitz, Ph.D., PE, AICP is a transportation and traffic engineering expert and has served as a litigation consultant since 1997. He is frequently consulted at the initial stages of a potential litigation for impartial input that can make the crucial difference between success and failure. He has the background and experience to explain complex issues in layman terms, suggest strategies, investigate and uncover facts, prepare reports and safety evaluations. His primary practice areas are: pedestrians, passengers, bicyclists, transportation workers, pedestrian-vehicle collisions, public transportation, passenger terminals, urban rail (subway), commuter and intercity rail, transit systems to mention just a few. He also evaluates areas of human factors, perception-reaction time, information and communication systems, best practices, rules, regulations, standards/guidelines.
